Main Points:
  1. Wet Roads - Double your following distance. Cover your brake and brake softly.
  2. Parallel Parking - Recheck right and use the space behind you.
  3. Left Turn - Angel the car and check the cycle lane before turning, the left blindspot. You must see 100 meters on each side before moving out. Don't stop for no reason. Stay on your side of the road.
  4. Onramp - Indicate longer, till all 4 wheels are in the other lane.
  5. Speed Control - Downhill stay under the speed limit.
  6. Merging - Check your blindspot before moving across.
  7. Steering - Don't drop your hands when slowing down.

Key Points:
  1. Giveway Sign - Always aim to stop but don't stop for no reason. Be slow enough to giveway and if safe keep moving.
  2. Curved Roads / Blind Corners - Keep left and roll around. Cover your brake but don't brake hard.
  3. 3 Point Turn - You must indicate right and check your right blindspot. Stay on the road.
  4. Vehicle Position - Keep reasonable to the left.
  5. Parallel Parking - Indicate left and check center mirror before stopping. Use the space behind you and recheck the right blindspot.
  6. Turning - You must see 100 meters on each side of the road before turning. If you can't see, move forward / edge forward. Keep your foot on the brake and roll up.
  7. Foot Position - Keep your heel on the ground and push with your toes.
  8. Orange Lights - Aim to stop. Don't rush to go through.
  9. Shoulder Checks / Blindspot Checks - Always check before moving left or right. Turn your head 90 degrees.
  10. More Searching - Move your chin, look outward. Turn your head to check your blindspot. 
  11. Searching and Mirror Usage - Recheck all intersections before and after. Activity search for hazards. Know what's behind you before braking.
  12. Turning Bays & Flush Medians - You must use them. Merge into them, nothing sudden. Indicate and check blindspot before moving in. All  4 wheels must be in the other lane.

  1. Steering / Hand Position - Move your hands to make big turns, When driving straight keep your hands on the wheel. Turn the wheel back.
  2. U- Turn - Turn your head, Check your blindspot. Indicate right.
  3. Narrow Roads - Look ahead, avoid bottlenecks and indicate to pass parked cars.
  4. Speed Control - Stay under the speed limit. Within 5km of the speed limit.

  7. Indicating - you must indicate for a minimum of 3 seconds before turning.
  8. Right Turns - Don't cut corners and stay on your side of the road.

  11. Curved Roads - Make small adjustments with the steering wheel when going around curved roads.
  12. Parking Curbside - You must indicate and check your blindspot before braking.
  13. Hand Position - You must keep both hands on the wheel when slowing down.
  14. Give Way Rule - You must follow the giveway rule at all cross roads. Know who has the right of way before slowing down. Be slow enough to giveway when needed.
  15.  Vehicle Position - Keep reasonably to the left. Avoid running over rubbish on the road.
  16. Traffic Lights - Be ready before, start looking outward while waiting for the lights to change.
  17. Turning Bays - You must use them when needed and indicate and check your blindspot before entering them.
  18. U- Turn - Be slow before turning and always indicate right and check your blindspot.

Key Points:
  1. Keep reasonably to the left side of the road.
  2. Be ready before and activity search for hazards.
  3. Beware of other vehicles driving over the speed limit. Stay under the speed limit.
  4. Stay in your lane on curved roads.
  5. Don't drop your hands when slowing down. Keep both hands on the wheel while moving.
  6. Alway know what is behind and next to you before indicating to change lanes.
  7. When turning right, stay on your side and don't cut corners.
  8. Take your time when parallel parking, use the space behind you, indicate left and recheck the right side.
  9. While in a carpark be slow and keep on your side of the road. Remember to indicate into the carpark.
  10. Be slow, cover your brake before blind or sharp corners. Don't brake hard for no reason. Let the car roll around corners.
  11. Angle the car when turning left and then after turning turn the wheel back.
  12. Beware of trucks and cars moving out, check both sides of the road.
  13. While waiting for the lights to go green, check both sides and know where you need to go.
  14. Use the flush median when needed and if safe move through it.
  15. Always indicate left when exiting a roundabout.

  1. Leaving the car park -  You must stop at all Stop Signs in the carpark.
  2. Railway Crossing - You must check both sides for trains and must have enough room on the other side of the tracks before moving over.
  3. Wide Roads - Keep reasonably to the left.
  4. Searching and Scanning - Look more off the road, Look outward.
  5. Mirror Usage - Check your center mirror before braking or slowing down.
  6. Parallel Parking - Indicate left and check center mirror before stopping. Use the space behind you and recheck the right blindspot.
  7. Turning - Find the center of the road before turning. Have a reference point to use. Check both sides before turning (100meters) and check the center mirror before and after turning (Know what is behind you)
  8. Road Works - Posted 30km Speed Limit Sign. You must stay at the posted sign till work ends
  9. Braking - Foot Position, Don't brake hard, push with your toes, keep your heel on the ground.
  10. U- Turn - You must always indicate right and check your blindspot before turning.
  11. Right Turns - Be ready before turning, Check and recheck before the last vehicle passes.
  12. Hands Position - Keep both hands on the wheel when slowing down.
  13. Roundabouts - Be ready before and take advantage of cover vehicles.
  14. Flush Medium And Turning Bays - Be comfortable using them. Always indicate and check your blind spot before entering them.

Critical Errors:
  1. Shoulder Checks - Always know what is next to you. Turn your head 90' degrees, before merging, changing lanes, using flush medians or turning bays and before turning left check the cycle and bus lanes.
