Before Your Driving Test

Check that your vehicle has a current Registration (Rego) and Warrant of Fitness (WoF).
Make sure you have enough fuel for the test.
Ensure your windscreen wipers are working correctly.
Check that your tyres are in good condition with no damage.
Display L Plates on both the front and rear of the vehicle.

Test Centre Information

The Pukekohe VTNZ Test Centre is located next to Bridgestone Tyre Centre.

Urban Driving:
This section of the test is generally around the Hospital and Pak'nSave area.

Roadworks & School Zones

Watch carefully for temporary 30 km/h roadworks speed limits.
Be alert for school zones and reduce your speed when required.

School Buses

When passing a stopped school bus that is picking up or dropping off children, reduce your speed to 20 km/h.

Flush Medians
