Key Points:
- Keep left - On wide roads.
- Roundabouts - Angel the car and aim to stop before the white line, look ahead and both sides while waiting to turn.
- Orange Lights / Traffic Lights - They will always change , be ready for them to change cover your brake and check both sides.
- Braking / Slowing Down - Check the center mirror before braking.
- Merging - Nothing sudden
- Searching - Check all side streets, look outward and move your chin. Try to see 100meters on each before turning
- Dual lanes - Know what is next to you and avoid being in someones blindspot.
- Onramps - Use all of it, speed up and merge out, nothing sudden.
- Stopping Distance - Stay back when waiting at lights.
- Parallel Parking - Too Slow. Indicate, check and turn the wheel at the same time before moving. Use the space behind you.
- Lane Change - Indicate before moving into the other lane and keep indicating till all 4 wheels are in the other lane.
- Speed Bumps - Be slow before and roll over, check center mirror and off the road.
- Flush Medians - Be comfortable using them.
- Gap Selection - Be ready before, check both sides while waiting to turn.
- Roadworks - Post 30km speed sign. Must slow down.
