- More searching is required before intersections, look outward and check the center mirror after moving through.
- High Speed Zone - Wrong gear must go from 5th to 4th , not 5th to 2nd.
- Double your following distance when following large / slow vehicles. Stay back and then speed up to overtake.
- Roundabouts don't indicate left too early, other vehicles will think you are turning left.
- Orange light - Aim to stop, know what's behind you before.
- Green light - Check both sides before moving.
- Don't turn in 3rd gear, you won't have enough power to speed up after the turn. Use 1st or 2nd gear depending on speed.
- Keep left on wide roads
- Check your blindspot before indicating - know what is next to you.
- Left Turns - check left blindspot before turning- check cycle lane.
- When parking on the road side you must indicate left, check the center mirror and your left blindspot before slowing down.
- When turning left or right you must see at least 100meters on both sides.
- Don't ride the clutch when turning or slowing down.
- Indicate and keep indicating when turning. 3 seconds before the turn.
- Narrow Roads - You must indicate and check your blindspot when moving around parked cars (If you move 1/2 over the middle or the road).
- Stop at Sigh Signs - Pause before moving. All 4 wheels must stop.
- Use the flush median when needed.
- Moving +50cm left or right to avoid hazards, you must check your blindspot before
- Right Turn - Stay on your side and don't cut the corner.
- Use the handbrake when needed - Hill Starts - Don't roll back / Stalled.
- Narrow Roads - Avoid bottlenecks - slow down before and keep left.
- Always indicate and check blindspot to merge, when required.
- Stay under the speed limit. Within 5km but not over and drive to the road conditions.
- When turning you must turn and speed up so as not to force other vehicles to slow down for you.
- Pedestrian crossing - You must cover your brake and check both sides before moving through. Don't brake for no reason.
- Once your speed is over 30km, move into 3rd gear. Listen to the sound of the engine / revs.
- Notice different speed signs - 50/60/80km,
- Keep a safe stopping distance at intersections and when in a queue. you must have enough to to move around the vehicle in front you if required.
- Clutch Control - let go of the clutch in 2 steps.
- Dual lanes - stay in your lane, don't get too close to the white lines.
- Right turn into a high speed zone +60km, you must have enough room to turn and speed up.
- Left turn into HSZ 80km, angle the car with the road and have enough room to speed up, you don't want to cause other vehicles to slow down for you.
- 3 Point Turn - On 3rd turn you must indicate right before moving and use the handbrake if required.
