🔵 Right Turns
- Avoid turning too wide.
- Do not edge forward while oncoming vehicles are still crossing your path.
- Give way to all vehicles travelling straight through the intersection.
- Before turning, make sure you can see at least 100 metres in both directions.
- Stay on your side of the road and complete the turn smoothly.
- Indicate and check your mirrors and blind spot before passing parked vehicles.
- Keep left where possible and avoid creating bottlenecks.
- Be aware of oncoming traffic.
- Do not enter the bus lane too early.
- Move into the bus lane only where the dashed white lines begin (approximately 50 metres before your turn).
- Check your blind spot before entering the bus lane.
- Indicate and check your blind spot before moving into the turning bay.
- Move into the bay first, then slow down smoothly.

- Move fully into the turning bay before slowing down.
- Indicate and perform a clear blind spot check before entering the bay.
- Check your centre mirror before braking.
- Indicate before merging.
- Check your centre mirror and perform a clear blind spot (head) check.
- Avoid driving with vehicles sitting in your blind spot.
- Merge smoothly and match the speed of traffic.
- Stay in your lane throughout the turn.
- Maintain good lane positioning and check your left blind spot, especially for cyclists and bus lanes.
- Stay in your lane throughout the turn.
- Avoid drifting into the adjacent lane.
- Be aware of vehicles beside you and maintain good lane discipline.
