- Dual-lane roundabouts: You must stay in your lane throughout the roundabout and indicate left when exiting.
- Roadworks: Always follow the posted speed limit. In roadworks areas, remain at 30 km/h until you pass the end roadworks sign.

- Speed Control: Do not exceed the speed limit by more than 5 km/h. Maintain consistent speed within the limit.
- Lane Changing: Always indicate and perform a clear blind spot (shoulder) check before moving across.

- Searching / Observation: Increase your searching. Check your centre mirror before braking and perform clear shoulder checks before changing lanes or merging. Turn your head so the check is visible.
- Keep Left: Maintain good road positioning and keep reasonably left where appropriate.
- Right Turns: Position the vehicle near the centre line before turning.
- Left Turns: Angle the car with the road and turn smoothly into the correct lane.
- Narrow Roads: Indicate when passing parked cars and keep reasonably left.
- Blind Corners: Reduce speed, keep left, and watch for oncoming vehicles to avoid bottlenecks.
- Following Distance: Maintain a safe following distance. Stay far enough back so you can see the ground behind the vehicle in front and have space to move around if needed.
- Dual-Lane Roads & Turns: Stay in your lane and avoid having vehicles sitting in your blind spot.
- Hand & Foot Position: Maintain proper hand position on the wheel and smooth pedal control.
- Hazard Identification: Identify and respond to all moving hazards—vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and animals.
