- Hand Position - Move your hands and make big turns when needed. Don't drop your hands when slowing down.
- Bus Lanes / Cycle Lanes - Don't stop on them or move into them too early.
- Gap Selection - You must take the first available gap when safe. Be ready before the last vehicle passes. Check, recheck and check again but don't keep looking where there are no vehicles.
- Left Turns - Check the bus / cycle lane before turning, the left blindspot and angle the car with the road.
- Right Turns - Find the center of the road before turning, don't rush and don't cut the corners to turn.
- Intersections / Traffic Lights - Don't queue across them. Check both sides always and have enough room on the other side before entering. Don't be too close to the vehicle in front.
- Narrow Roads - Look ahead, avoid bottlenecks, keep reasonable to the left and indicate to pass parked cars.
- Turning Bays and Flush Medians - You must use them and not interfere with traffic flow. Merge in and out when needed, and if safe just move through them. Be confident using them. Alway indicate and check your blindspot.
- Roundabout - Must give way to cars on your right. Angle the car to the left and look for cover vehicles on your left. Indicate left to exit.
- Searching Ahead - Activity search for potential hazards, try to see 100 meters on each side. Move your chin and move your head. Check all intersections. Don't lean forward while moving forward.
- Parallel Parking - Check and recheck your right blindspot. Indicate left before stopping and use the space behind you.
