• Gear Changes:
  Don’t look down at the gears when changing—keep your eyes on the road at all times.
• Steering:
  Make bigger, smoother turns. Move your hands up the wheel when needed for better control.
• Gear Before Turning:
  Be in 1st or 2nd gear before turning—don’t change gears mid-turn.
• Searching / Observation:
  Look outward and off the road for hazards. Scan ahead and to the sides, not just straight in front.
• Left Turns:
  Angle the car to match the road and maintain good positioning through the turn.
• Clutch Control:
  Push the clutch fully in before changing gears.
  Do not ride the clutch—release it before turning.
• Blind Corners:
  Slow down early and approach with caution.
• Narrow Roads:
  Don’t get too close to parked cars—maintain safe clearance when passing.
• Downhill Stops:
  When stopped downhill, use the foot brake and control the car smoothly.
• Hill Starts:
  Use the handbrake for better control and smoother take-off.
• Speed Bumps:
  Use 1st or 2nd gear and go over slowly and smoothly.
