If you move to a point where you can see.. you will keep going.. because you know it safe.. because if you wait you will be blocking the road.. and fail you test STOP at the YELLOW LINES.. look around.. I can't see.. move forward.. Did you stop at the stop sign.. yes.. I looked and couldn't see.. I moved forward to where I could see.. as I moved forward after stopping it was safe to go.. I moved forward.. it was unsafe.. I stopped and waited. | STOP MEANS STOP !!!! When you are doing your full driving test, you are driving in a circle you will end up at the same location (Do Not Rush). The full tests are 30 minutes long, take your time. There will be stop signs and give way signs. If you DON'T STOP and check both sides before moving off you will fail your driving test. STOP look right, look left.. I cant see the road.. roll forward.. is it safe.. can you see.. is it safe.. can you go.. yes.. go.. no wait.. |

Updated Version This animation gives an overview of the two rule changes from both a birds-eye and driver perspective.
Changes To Parallel Parking Marking Outline (April 2013)
The change in the wording clarifies, that the student has 4 movements to park the vehicle. The first movement starts when they start reversing backwards into the car park. The minimum number of 2 movements has been removed as this was also misleading (so there is now no minimum number of movements listed anymore). Things you need to do if you want to pass your driving test....
Using on-ramps when entering and leaving a motorway
A yellow signal means stop, unless you are so close to the intersection that you can't stop safely. A yellow signal indicates that the lights will soon turn red.
When turning right from either Smales Rd or Armoy Drive, Keep an eye out for vehicles doing a U Turn.
It's NOT a question of maybe they will make me parallel park for the restricted test... THE TESTING OFFICERS WILL MAKE YOU PARALLEL PARK !!!!!
5 km over the speed for more then 5 seconds is a fail... "Critical Error !!!" Results from a failed manual restricted test in Howick at 11:15 on the 8th of Feb 2013
The learners, restricted and full New Zealand Driving Test's are easy to pass but they are also really easy to FAIL. If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail your driving test.
