For your driving test you are required to drive within 5km of the speed without exceeding it. However you are also required to drive the the road conditions.
- If you are following a truck driving in a high speed zone, double your following distance to 4 seconds.
- If you are on a narrow side street with parked cars on one side, drive at a speed that will allow you to stop safely if someone opens a door or pulls out.
- If its raining follow the +4 second rule.
- If there are people around, be prepared for some to move in front of you.
